Dr. Eliezer Livnat is a Board Certified Obstetrician & Gynecologist with over 25 years experience in gynecology, gynecological surgery and reproductive medicine. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tel Aviv University Medical School. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. He has trained gynecologist in minimally invasive surgery and held a clinical faculty position at Nova Southeastern University Medical School.
Dr. Livnat is an expert in the evolving field of Cosmetic Gynecology. This specialty offers women surgical options to correct functional or anatomical variations of their genitalia. Several surgical techniques can transform and restore the normal anatomy and function of the labia or vagina. Trauma from childbirth, aging, or inherited anatomical variations can affect the aesthetic appearance of the labia or the normal function of the vagina. These changes may adversely affect sexual function, intimate relationships, and emotional health. These surgical procedures are performed at our accredited state of the art outpatient surgical facility on South Beach, under local or sedation anesthesia with little postoperative discomfort and with a relatively short recovery period.
